Our New Interconnect Product - 5 Carriers !

We would like to officially announce that we have placed an order (October 2011) with upstream providers to hand off an additional 100MB Transit with the following carriers OPTUS, VERIZON and NTT into our DataCentre interconnect Service.

RackCentral is one of the best located privately owned data centre service providers based in Melbourne. We strive on providing our customers great service and unprecedented level of support from our small but strong team of staff. We have been informed that the installation date is going to be in or around the 6th of December with a GO-Live Date of just after Christmas.

We would like to thank our customer base for their continued support throughout the year and look forward to working with you all closely over the coming years to support your business needs.

DataCentre Cooling / Update

Today Emerson attended site and brought online our 4x 150kw Air Conditioners (CRACS). They sound like helicopters starting up and we are very pleased with the results!

The next update from me will be the final post on this blog. In a few days time we are going to complete a full test load change over to generator and back again. If this is successfull then this datacentre is finished!

PowerPax Chiller - Running Video

Here is a video of our PowerPax Chiller running for it's first big test, as later today the cracs start up for the first time.

The Power Is Online!

Citypower came by and we were all a bit nervous as the inspector had a grim look on his face, however a short time later he gave us the all clear and we now have power!

Well done to Westwoods/JLL for there assistance in making this wonderful day happen!
